Thanks to all the MSTies who came out to the St Louis Science Center on August 4th for the MST3K First Friday event.

St Louis Science Center

It was my great pleasure to bring along some of my robots and give a talk on parts that go into making them and how I became invloved with making the Tom Servo and Crow replicas used on the new season of MST3K and the "Watch Out For Snakes!" live show tour.

It was also great to participate in the Geek Universe podcast with MST3K producer Harold Buchholz.

It was wonderful to see so many fans come out and support the show. Thanks again. Hikeeba!

Have you cleaned your room, yet?

Any fan of MST3K can tell you that the adorable wise-cracking robots on the SOL are made from mostly, well...junk. Not a criticism, just a fact.

But what junk?

I have been a fan of MST3K since it first aired in 1990. After a couple of years of watching the show, I really wanted to construct my own Tom Servo, Crow and Gypsy. I decided to start collecting the various parts to make each of the bots.

After searching garage sales and thrift shops and trading with other fans, I finally amassed enough parts to build exact, full-size, fully functioning replicas of Servo, Crow and Gypsy.

Over time, I was asked by other MSTies to make bots for them or supply them with parts so they could construct their own. Since then, I have provided many happy MST3K fans with their very own Tom Servo, Crow and Gypsy.

Click on the links above to see photos of the bots and all of the parts that went into making them.
